The consumer rights act is something that has very recently come into full force as of 1st of October 2015. This has been put in place to enable consumers to buy and sell more confidently. The law has become easier to understand. The new law should enable you to learn more efficiently about what rights you are or not entitled to. This should be kept in mind when purchasing and deciding between providers. Information on an item of purchase should be clear and if a problem arises you can be more informed through the new rights. It's said that a month consumers spend £90 billion. The rights also help consumers to attempt making wiser decisions in regards to attempting to get them to save and spend their money better. This law covers - unfair terms in a contract - written notice for routine inspections by public enforcers, such as Trading Standards. - how services should match up to what has been agreed, and what hsould happen when they do not. - the outcome of when goods are faulty - what happens when a business is acting in a way that isn't competitive
