The Competitors
Kiko distrubues itself differently to most make up brands, it is broad in Europe, it's price point, it doesn't advertise on the Tv or hold concessions within department stores like House of Fraser or counters in places like Boots or Superdrug. The brand can be compared to others in different ways through having similar elements such as similar quality make up and packaging to M.A.C, and European competititon with L'Oreal. Maybelline and Revlon are also considered competitors to Kiko due to it's wide appeal internationally the same as Kiko. Heres a bit about the competitors. L'oreal - One of the giants in the cosmetic industry in thr world. The company grew to a commendable rate of 70%. IT has a strong market base in shampoo, hair colour, and related to kiko products catagory, skin care. Revlon - They were one of the worlds first international brands. The brand offers a wide range of high quality products with pricing done for the mid-level customers. The company owns approximately 20/25% of the domsetic colour cosmetic market share.
Maybelline - Owned by L'Oreal. One of the major factors that have helped this brand to carve it's niche is being resonably priced in spite of it's international appeal. M.A.C - Undoubtably the most famous brand, which has become widely marketed and loved. This is especially loved by most backstage make up artists due to it's quality. The brand offers a wide range of face products.
